Planetary Research at FMI
Spaceresearch began in Finland in an explicite form making experiments
in 1985 with the Promics and Phobos projects. As a result of these
first steps and the contacts created to Russia, France and Germany an
active phase of experimental research was initiated. Dr. Jochen Kissel played a
significant role in this development which led to involvment in CIDA,
CONTOUR and COSIMA/Rosetta.
